Job Description
AECOM are seeking an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor, to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of our projects by providing accurate cost estimations, managing contracts, and optimizing project costs.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical or Quantity Survey degree
  • 8 years MEP post qualification work experience, Middle East experience is preferable
Responsibilities
  • Assist with all aspects of MEP pre-contract services through concept, schematic and detailed design phases inclusive of measurement, cost planning and production of BoQ’s for construction projects.
  • Assist with preparation of tender and contract documents.
  • Assisting in and contributing to value engineering and viability studies.
  • Assist in assessing, evaluating and making recommendations related to any financial claim and providing the necessary input with regards to settling such claims.
  • Assist in evaluation all change management including variations, additional works, field changes, additions and omissions, and incorporation of the same within the monthly cost reports.
  • Preparing and pricing Change Orders and negotiating agreement with the client and contractor as necessary.
  • Conducting viability studies and cost estimates.
  • Provide assistance to the team during negotiations, arbitration, or any other forms of dispute resolution.
