Job Description Job Description AECOM are seeking an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor, to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial success of our projects by providing accurate cost estimations, managing contracts, and optimizing project costs. Responsibilities: Assist with all aspects of MEP pre-contract services through concept, schematic and detailed design phases inclusive of measurement, cost planning and production of BoQ’s for construction projects. Assist with preparation of tender and contract documents. Assisting in and contributing to value engineering and viability studies. Assist in assessing, evaluating and making recommendations related to any financial claim and providing the necessary input with regards to settling such claims. Assist in evaluation all change management including variations, additional works, field changes, additions and omissions, and incorporation of the same within the monthly cost reports. Preparing and pricing Change Orders and negotiating agreement with the client and contractor as necessary. Conducting viability studies and cost estimates. Provide assistance to the team during negotiations, arbitration, or any other forms of dispute resolution. Qualifications Degree qualified in Mechanical, Electrical or Quantity Survey degree. 5 years MEP post qualification work experience, Middle East experience is preferable.
