JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a qualified and detail-oriented MEP Quantity Surveyor to manage cost estimation, tendering, and contract administration for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works. The ideal candidate will have solid knowledge of MEP systems and a proven track record of delivering accurate cost control on large-scale construction projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in MEP quantity surveying.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and quantity takeoff software (e.g., Planswift, Bluebeam).
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of local market rates and construction regulations.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for MEP works including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Review contract documents and identify scope gaps and risks.
• Monitor project budgets, variations, and cost control measures.
• Evaluate subcontractor quotations and negotiate contracts.
• Prepare interim valuations and final accounts.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams.
• Provide monthly cost reports and financial forecasts.
