Description
Execute day to day quantity calculations based on the qualitative input of the project surveyors. • Prepare the weekly and monthly quantities and measurements and consolidate the data in reports for the Senior Quantity Surveyor. • Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities. • Assist in Rate Analysis and pricing of tenders. • Undertake cost analysis for repair and maintenance project/commercial work. • Quantity take-offs base on contracts drawings and specifications. • Identify opportunities for cost reduction. • Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks. • Perform value management and cost control. • Identify, analyse and develop responses to commercial risks. • Prepare and analyse costings for tenders • Allocate work to subcontractors. • Assist on contracts variations and claims quantification and costings. • Value completed work and arranging payments. • Maintain awareness of the different contracts in current use. • Understand the implications of health and safety regulations. • Develop weekly/monthly progress reports. • Inform Senior Quantity Surveyor on requests for quantity calculation instrumental equipment’s • Cooperate efficiently and constructively with the chief surveyors, quantity surveyors and the commercial department • Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with external and internal stakeholders • Generalist view of a Job that you have been assigned for – at times you may be requested to do above/beyond the scope of this role due to Operational requirements Educational Qualifications & Certifications Relevant Experience
Responsibilities
