A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying or other equivalents

Responsibilities

The Quantity Surveyor (Projects) will support the Projects team in executing current projects. He/She will
report to the Executive Director for Tenders and Contracts. Key responsibilities include :
Ensuring project information is updated in a timely manner to support the smooth progress of the project
Preparing progressive claims and potential variation claims
Ensuring proper closing out of the project final account
Liaise with external stakeholders such as consultants, contractors and clients on matters of importance
such as claims certification and monthly progress claims
Evaluate subcontractor claims to ensure accuracy and compliance with contracts
Assisting the Executive Director for Tenders and Contracts in other duties
