Description

Quality Surveyor, estimate and control costs for construction projects. Shall make sure that structures meet authorized and quality standards and are involved at every stage of a project
Monitoring of Site Actual costs & compare the Budget does not exceed, and that cost savings are achieved. Assist with construction and contract administration, design team, project progress meetings and settlement of construction disputes and to ensure that up to date project files are maintained with Project Code.
Study tender documents including drawings, project specification, Bill of Quantities (BOQ) scope of work, quantity verification, contract details and conditions. Sending inquires to the Vendors & Sub-contractor to get competitive quotations.
Assessing the viability of the Project after the cost plan has been produced in order to ensure that the Client / Consultant is achieving the best assessment for the project. Have to plan regular site visits to all projects to ensure the work is being carried / executed within our plan, procedure and specification and to ensure that the same shall be fully updated to Management / Client / Consultant.
QS correspondence including the Preparation of Monthly Interim Payments, Valuations, Additional works, financial statement, timely pricing, cross checking of site measurement of works on sites and from drawings including competence with electronic measurement systems and ability to analyze quoting and support for submission of project variations and changes, effective handling of contract charges.
Assisting the Management with the preparation of project reports, analyzing information for adjustments to project budget as necessary to ensure a successful project and valuation of works to Invoice works completed activities for further submission and approval to the Client / Consultant.
Assisting Project Manager / Operation Manager with the Management of internal, external agreement and subcontractors including the assessment and selection, Subcontractor invoices, hiring instructions and financial control of works. Track all payment / invoice made for internal, material stock balance at site, external and subcontractors for our resources.
To implement procedures to quantify and cost construction works, including the use of appropriate standard methods of measurement.
