This is a great opportunity for a Junior or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor to join an expanding consultancy where you will work on large projects for major clients whilst advancing your career with hands-on training, support on Chartership, and a clear progression route to Director.

This growing construction consultancy operates across the country, offering a variety of services to a diverse range of blue-chip clientele. These services range from project management, commercial management, and commercial controls, with their services being offered to clients within the civils and infrastructure sector. As a result, they have won a major contract with one of their largest clients, which is why they are looking to add to their dynamic team with this fantastic opportunity.
In this role, you will take on a number of responsibilities where you will be required to be on site 4 days a week, with the fifth day worked from home. You will be shadowing a senior surveyor, gaining valuable experience. You will mainly be responsible for administering NEC contracts with suppliers and sub-contractors, managing cost plans, budgets and forecasts, and preparing and presenting final accounts. Amongst other responsibilities, you will also be required to establish and manage any commercial risk related to the project.
Therefore, the ideal candidate will be a Junior or Intermediate Quantity Surveyor with good commercial acumen, capable of providing excellent commercial service to clients, and will hold a full UK driver’s license in order to travel to site.
