ABOUT THE COMPANY

We’re working with a well-established and growing construction company with offices in Plymouth and Exeter, who deliver high-quality projects across a range of sectors including hospitals, schools, airports, and fire safety upgrades. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add another Quantity Surveyor to their commercial team. They are also open to speaking with Junior/Intermediate level surveyors who are looking for the next step in their career.
With a diverse client base spanning both public sector frameworks and private sector projects, this business prides itself on delivering high-quality construction solutions and maintaining long-term client relationships.

THE OPPORTUNITY

We’re seeking a proactive Quantity Surveyor to join this forward-thinking team. Reporting directly to the Managing Director, you’ll take ownership of commercial responsibilities across various projects—supporting cost management, procurement, and contractual processes.

• Manage subcontractor procurement and payments on projects valued up to £1.5m
• Prepare take-offs and Bills of Quantities
• Carry out valuations, monitor project costs, and manage payments
• Conduct site measurements and assist with on-site cost reporting
• Support estimating and tendering activities
• Compile and agree final accounts
• Maintain accurate records and reports using MS Office (particularly Excel) and internal systems
