We’re currently recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor to join our fantastic Highways team, based at our Colchester site, supporting projects across the South East region. You’ll play a key role in our commercial team, working closely with the Managing Quantity Surveyor and building strong relationships with both internal stakeholders and client representatives.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re seeking someone with:
Willingness to travel between sites as required
A degree-level qualification is preferred, but we also welcome candidates with HND or those qualified by experience (QBE).
The role is based our Colchester Office in Essex. The office is easily commutable from Colchester, Tiptree, West Mersea, Clacton-on-Sea, Great Bentley, Braintree, Witham, Ipswich, Sudbury, Halstead, Chelmsford and the surrounding areas

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As a Quantity Surveyor, you’ll ideally bring experience from similar sectors such as Highways, Road Infrastructure, Paving, Surfacing, or Civil Engineering. Your responsibilities will include:
Issuing early warning notices and managing compensation events
A company vehicle is provided with this role. A full UK manual driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points is required, and occasional travel across the UK may be necessary to support wider team needs—flexibility is key.
