We are now seeking an experienced Electrical Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding commercial team. In this key role, you will manage the commercial and financial aspects of our electrical projects from tender through to final account. You will ensure accurate cost control, valuations, variations and reporting while working closely with project managers and clients. If you have a strong background in electrical surveying, excellent financial acumen, and enjoy working in a fast-paced infrastructure environment – we want to hear from you!

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying (BSc / BEng) or related discipline
  • Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the M&E sector
  • Strong knowledge of NEC or JCT contract frameworks
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Proficient in cost reporting and commercial documentation
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
Responsibilities
  • Prepare, submit and negotiate tenders and cost estimates for electrical works
  • Manage project budgets, forecasts and cost reporting
  • Measure and value works on site (including re-measures)
  • Handle applications for payment, valuations and final accounts
  • Identify, price and agree variations and change orders
  • Monitor subcontractor accounts and procurement
  • Attend client and project meetings, providing commercial guidance
  • Ensure all commercial processes comply with contracts and company policy
