JOB SUMMARY

The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for managing the financial and contractual aspects of refurbishment and repair projects from inception to completion. The role ensures that projects are delivered within budget, in compliance with contract terms, and with accurate financial reporting.
Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 (depending on experience)
Location: Based at our Llantrisant head office with site visits as required.

SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Strong knowledge of refurbishment, maintenance, and repair projects.
  • Understanding of construction methods, materials, and legislation.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • High level of numeracy and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, cost management software, and estimating tools.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience in refurbishment, maintenance, and/or reactive repair projects.
  • Familiarity with standard forms of contract (JCT, NEC).
  • Membership of RICS (desirable but not essential).
