Trusted and accredited by CHAS Elite, CPA, SafeContractor and more, we have built a strong reputation for excellence, safety, and craftsmanship. Our clients span both the public and private sectors, including homeowners, insurers, housing associations, and commercial organisations.
We are now looking for a Quantity Surveyor to support our expanding insurance sector. This is a varied and rewarding role, working closely with our Contracts Managers and Project Coordinators. The role is fast paced reactive in the domestic sector. It’s ideally suited to someone who enjoys multitasking, problem-solving, and being at the heart of daily operations.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Recognised qualification in Quantity Surveying.
  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within the construction industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Effective problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills.
  • Team player with strong communication skills.
  • IT proficient and confident with digital systems.
  • Positive and proactive approach to work.
Responsibilities
  • Work alongside Contracts Managers and Project Coordinators to support project delivery.
  • Undertake scoping visits at loss addresses and prepare schedules of works using insurer rates.
  • Prepare valuations, variations, and cost analysis.
  • Procure materials and plant for live projects.
  • Monitor budgets and project costs to ensure financial control.
  • Visit sites when required to liaise with supervisors and the contracts team.
  • Manage queries promptly and professionally.
  • Support Contracts and Estimating teams with additional tasks as required.
