Location: Woodlands
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:45 PM
Salary: Up to $4,500 (commensurate with experience)

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience; exposure to engineering, construction, facility management, or IT-related projects will be an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works.
  • Solid understanding of contract administration, procurement, cost estimation, and project budgeting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant QS software/tools.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented, with the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an experienced and meticulous Quantity Surveyor to join our engineering team. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate cost management and contractual administration of projects. Candidates with relevant experience in M&E or project-based environments are encouraged to apply

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and detailed quantity take-offs for Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) works.
  • Manage the full spectrum of contract administration, including tender preparation, evaluation, award, and post-contract management.
  • Monitor project costs to ensure alignment with budgets and implement effective cost-control measures.
  • Evaluate and certify progress claims, variations, and final accounts.
  • Conduct value engineering and cost analysis to optimise project efficiency without compromising quality.
  • Liaise with project managers, consultants, and contractors to resolve contractual and commercial matters.
  • Prepare reports and provide timely updates on financial and contractual status of projects.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, contractual obligations, and company policies.
