Role Description We are seeking a full-time Quantum Application Engineer to join our global quantum application engineering team. Based in our Tokyo office in Japan, you will focus on supporting non-Japanese speaking customers in Japan as well as clients across the broader APAC region. In this role, you will work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure success through high-quality technical support. Your responsibilities will include troubleshooting, project management, and applying a deep understanding of quantum algorithms, Classiq’s platform, and diverse quantum applications. You will play a key role in driving sales by ensuring customer success and identifying opportunities for product enhancement. Additionally, you will work closely with the Managing Director, APAC, and Regional Commercial Directors to promote Classiq’s values and brand across the quantum ecosystems of Japan and other APAC countries. While this position is office-based, we offer flexible work arrangements, including the option to work from home. Responsibilities Providing technical support to Classiq's customers and employees Troubleshooting issues and managing projects related to quantum algorithms and applications Collaborating with the global Quantum Application Engineer team and Director of Sales, Japan. Driving customer success and identifying opportunities for product enhancement Creating and presenting demos of novel quantum algorithms and applications to various prospects Promoting Classiq’s brand and values within the Japanese quantum ecosystem as a Classiq’s evangelist Requirements Bachelor's or Master’s or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Physics, Math, Electrical Engineering, or a related field Experience with quantum information, quantum software engineering, or quantum algorithms Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong technical support, troubleshooting, and project management skills Full proficiency in English.
