Operate, Maintain and Improve
We currently have an opportunity for an experienced quarry/mining fixed-plant Boilermaker / Welder to perform fixed-plant maintenance at our Glasshouse Mountains Quarry, on a permanent, full-time basis. We are looking for candidates who have either a trade qualification as a fitter / boilermaker, or ample relevant experience. This role will be a day shift position – with a 5am start and 5pm finish, Monday to Friday! Friday and Saturdays are paid as overtime.

In your new role with us, you will:

• Conducting general fixed-plant maintenance
• Inspection and maintenance of crushers, conveyors, screens and chutes
• Communicating and planning repairs according to requirements in conjunction with the Maintenance Supervisor/Leading Hand
• Executing repairs as per scheduled timeline
• Monitor improvements to maintenance tasks and processes or plant performance

This role is a great fit for you if:

• Applicants will need to be experienced in crusher, screening, conveyor repairs (fixed plant maintenance background)
• Preferences are for trades qualified in fitter/boilermaker
• Will need to be fit – constant manual handling
• Need to be able to work within a small crew
• Willingness to listen and learn
• Must be reliable
• Hold a current drivers license
• Hold current Confined Space and Working at Heights qualifications
• Are committed to Zero Harm and a safe working culture
