Description

Rogers Group is seeking a Groundman/Laborer for our quarry operation located in Liberty and McMinnville Quarries located in Tennessee. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * General plant/mine labor and clean-up of production areas, including shoveling stone from around conveyors and assisting with plant clean up and operations * Being trained in various other entry level production positions and filling in as needed during vacations, absences, and increased production demand times * Report equipment problems and identify them to management * Light maintenance work and maintain the belt lines * Complete equipment pre-shift report – if applicable * Assist other workers as needed or directed and other duties as assigned by management * Operating production equipment as needed – such as a haul truck, wheeled loader, or skid steer * Complete equipment pre-shift report – if applicable * Assist other workers as needed or directed and other duties as assigned by management Qualifications * Properly follow all company policies and regulations for safe working procedures and environment * Ability to maintain safe working conditions * The self-motivated individual must be able to perform required duties without constant supervision * Able to perform a variety of duties, some which may include plant clean-up, maintenance, operating equipment and other * duties as assigned * Ability to learn quickly * Must be willing to work weekends and overtime * Must pass pre-employment drug screen Rogers Group provides extensive benefits, strong compensation, and a safe, drug-free working environment.
