Description

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: * Inspect, maintain, and repair equipment, machinery, or systems. * Heavy equipment operation if needed. * Keep detailed records of maintenance and repairs. * Monitoring and adjusting production processes. * Performing routine maintenance on machinery. * Troubleshooting issues as they arise. * Communicating with other team members to ensure a smooth workflow. * Able to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints. * Diagnose and fix mechanical problems quickly and efficiently. * Maintain quarry organization. QUALIFICATIONS: * Experienced fixed plant mechanic, certified welder, understands crushing/screening/power transmission. * 2+ years’ experience in a Rock Quarry Plant preferred. * Must be able to follow safety procedures and work effectively in a high-pressure environment. * Must have a valid driver's license * Attention to detail. * The ability to work well in a team. * Strong communication skills. * Strong understanding of safety protocols EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: * A high school diploma or equivalent; Previous MSHA training is a plus. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: * Standing for prolonged periods of time * Lifting * Climbing * Crouching * Walking * Works in many different weather conditions * Bending **Nights, weekends as needed**
