The Madison Area YMCA is hiring a 2026 Quest Camp Site Coordinator to oversee the daily operations and administrative functions of Quest Day Camp sites located at Drew University, the F.M. Kirby Children's Center, and the Family Center. Camp Dates: June 22, 2026 - August 27, 2026 Position Overview: The Quest Camp Site Coordinator supports the successful operation of multiple camp sites by managing administrative processes, parent communication, enrollment, supplies, and compliance. This role works closely with the Camp Directors to ensure programs run smoothly and meet all licensing and organizational standards. Essential Functions: * Maintain current knowledge of all Quest Camp programs and procedures  * Coordinate day-to-day administrative and back-office operations across multiple camp sites * Manage camp supply needs, including distribution and inventory tracking * Serves as primary point of contact for parents via email, phone, and in person * Responds promptly to all parent inquiries and escalate high-priority concerns to the Camp Directors * Manage camper enrollment in ActiveNet, including withdrawals, transfers, and added weeks * Maintain accurate camper and staff records and ensure licensing compliance * Manage waitlists and enroll campers as space becomes available  * Tracks all auto-draft payments and follow up on declined payments to ensure fees are collected prior to each camp week * Support camp programming as needed, ensuring activities follow Quest Day Camp guidelines and meet NJ Youth Camp Act and ACA Standards * Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and camp activities  * Assist the Camp Directors with staff support and operational oversight as needed * Complete additional duties as assigned What You'll Receive:  * Competitive pay  * Up to 40 hours per week (schedule varies) * 40 hours of mandatory training June 15 - June 19, 2026 * CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications provided  * Be eligible for a 10 week stay cash incentive. Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree preferred. * Bilingual skills preferred. * Strong relationship-building skills with families and staff  * High level of accuracy and attention to detail * Strong organizational skills and the ability to take initiative  * Ability to respond calmly and effectively in safety and emergency situations. Working Conditions: * Ability to stand or sit while maintaining alertness for several hours at a time. * The employee is required to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel and to manipulate keys on a keyboard and use a telephone. * Position may require bending, leaning, kneeling and walking. * Vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to view computer monitors. * Ability to speak concisely and effectively communicate. * Visual and auditory ability to respond to critical situations and physical ability to act swiftly in an emergency and exposure to bodily fluids is possible. * Must be able to withstand being outdoors in heat, humidity, on a pool deck and rain. * Up to 40hours/per week, days may vary.
