Description Ted Britt Ford Lincoln in Chantilly is seeking a Quick Lane Technician to join our growing service department. This position is designed to be the starting point for a prosperous automotive career. Our Quick Lane is more than an entry-level job — it is a mentorship-driven environment where technicians gain real-world experience while working alongside some of the most experienced technicians in the region. Our dealership currently has over 10 Ford Senior Master Technicians on staff, creating an incredible learning environment for technicians who want to build a long-term career in the automotive industry. Many of our top technicians started in the Quick Lane and advanced through training, mentorship, and dedication to their craft. Current Automotive College Program Participants encouraged to apply! Responsibilities Diagnose and repair automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components. Perform maintenance and service work per manufacturer specifications. Ensure all repairs meet dealership and manufacturer quality standards. Communicate clearly with Service Advisors regarding repair needs and timelines. Maintain certifications and participate in ongoing technical training. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training preferred. ASE certification(s) or manufacturer certification(s) preferred. Proficient in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Ability to read and interpret repair manuals and technical service bulletins. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
