---------------------------------------- POSITION SUMMARY: The Quick Lube Technician is responsible for performing basic maintenance services quickly, accurately, and safely to ensure vehicles are operating efficiently and customers receive top-quality service. This position serves as an entry-level role within the service department, offering opportunities for skill development and advancement within the automotive field. ---------------------------------------- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Perform oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid level checks on all types of vehicles. * Inspect and top off essential fluids such as coolant, transmission, brake, and power steering fluids. * Check and replace air filters, cabin filters, and wiper blades as needed. * Rotate and inspect tires, check tire pressure, and perform basic safety inspections. * Ensure all work is completed according to manufacturer and company standards. * Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service bay and work area. * Properly document all services performed on repair orders. * Communicate effectively with service advisors or management about vehicle conditions or additional recommended services. * Follow all company safety procedures and environmental regulations. * Provide excellent customer service by treating customers and their vehicles with care and professionalism. ---------------------------------------- QUALIFICATIONS: * High school diploma or equivalent required. * Previous automotive maintenance or technician experience preferred but not required (training available). * Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in the automotive field. * Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment. * Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods. ---------------------------------------- KEY COMPETENCIES: * Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work. * Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented. * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
