Stemilt Ag Services LLC Job Description Job Title: Irrigator Department: Stemilt Ag Services LLC Reports To: Farm Foreman or Crew Boss Prepared By: Rebecca Derrick Approved By: Scott Driscoll Revised: 2/24/2021 Location: Quincy/George area Summary: Engages in irrigating, cooling, fixing mainlines, and all aspects of growing/producing tree crops by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Operate an ATV to perform job task Turn on irrigation according to foreman’s instructions. Observe fruit temperature to turn on overhead cooling Fix pipes, sprinklers, mainlines, and any other equipment related to irrigation. Site prepares for new blocks Apply fertigation Place/remove bins within harvest blocks. Other job tasks may include pruning, thinning, pulling weeds, trellis work, tree training, general clean up, and planting. Supervisory Responsibilities: Directly supervises 3 subordinate supervisors and anywhere from 6 to 30 employees. Responsibilities

The Irrigator is responsible for irrigating and cooling tree crops, fixing irrigation equipment, and preparing sites for new blocks. Additional tasks may include pruning, thinning, and general maintenance of the farm.
