Quotation Desk Specialist The objective of the Quotation Desk Specialist is to ensure a high quality of quotes globally. This specialist is responsible for checking the quality of quotes in CPQ against a pre-defined set of technical and business parameters to eliminate errors at an early stage and ensure a smooth, fast approval flow and service delivery. This role will reduce cost-related risks and increase quote-to-cash efficiency and the quality of revenue. Key Responsibilities: Quote Evaluation: Review and verify quotes against a pre-defined set of technical and business parameters. Approval Process: Approve quotes that meet the established requirements and ensure compliance with company standards. Sales Support: Recommend sales representatives to direct customers to place orders via the website or customer portal when applicable, adhering to pre-defined guidelines. Feedback Provision: Offer constructive feedback to the quote originator, highlighting areas for improvement based on established guidelines. Trend Analysis: Identify and flag general trends and areas for improvement to management for continuous process enhancement. Departmental Feedback: Provide feedback to relevant departments based on the analysis of submitted quotations. Qualifications: Proven experience in a similar role. Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency in using quotation management and CRM software.
