SCOPE OF THE POSITION

Robertson Electric is seeking an individual with expertise in lighting & distribution to join our Project Estimating team as a Quotations Specialist. This role involves interpreting electrical specifications and drawings to create accurate project quotations, ensuring Robertson Electric secures a significant share of available work. The successful candidate will drive process efficiency, align costs and products with project requirements, and facilitate a smooth handoff to project contract managers once a job is awarded.

• Provide accurate and detailed quotations for lighting and electrical products based on customer requirements and technical specifications.
• Determine the most cost-effective options to meet project specifications.
• Receiving requests and responding to inquiries from customers
• Communicates with vendors, customers and suppliers to build strong and profitable relationships
• Maintain proper files for product quotes within the company quotations program.
• Assist with the smooth handover of accepted quotations to project management teams, ensuring clear communication of customer specifications
