This Quote Engineer is responsible for accurately estimating the cost of manufacturing electronic assemblies. This position requires a strong understanding of electronics manufacturing processes, materials, and market trends.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associates degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in electronics manufacturing, preferably in a cost estimation or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of electronic components, materials, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software tools.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.th the ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Analyze customer requirements and specifications to develop accurate cost estimates for electronic assemblies.
  • Identify and source appropriate materials based on project requirements while considering cost, quality, and availability.
  • Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to negotiate pricing with suppliers.
  • Maintain strong relationships with our custom material vendors.
  • Ensure that the business has adequate partners for all technologies both USA and off-shore.
  • Identify potential risks and mitigate to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Prepare detailed and competitive quotes for customers, ensuring alignment with company pricing strategies and profitability goals.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to sales teams during customer interactions and negotiations.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the quote process to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records of quotes, pricing information, and project specifications.
  • Comply with all ISO 9001:2015, 5S, and other applicable standards; ensure department compliance.
