3+ years of experience in a similar role within the electronics and cable industry

ROLE OVERVIEW

As our Quote Estimator, you will be the linchpin between our sales, engineering, and production teams—responsible for preparing accurate, competitive, and timely quotations for PCB and cable assembly projects. You’ll analyse customer requirements, estimate costs, and ensure our proposals align with both client expectations and company profitability goals.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Review customer RFQs (Request for Quotations) and technical drawings/specs
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to gather cost inputs
• Prepare detailed quotations including BOM analysis, labour, tooling, and lead times
• Maintain and update pricing databases and quotation templates
• Liaise with suppliers for component pricing and availability
• Ensure quotations are delivered on time and meet margin targets
• Support sales team with technical and commercial input during negotiations
• Continuously improve quotation processes and tools for efficiency and accuracy
