ABOUT US

Fussilat Academy, established in September 2017, is an online and onsite Islamic school (maktab) providing classes for children (5+) and adults (18+).
We have a unique approach to teaching with a focus of instilling Tarbiyah through practical and engaging lessons. We create bespoke content and provide development opportunities for students and teachers.
Day: Saturday (term time only)
Time: 09:30 to 13:30
Pay: £13.00 per hour (outside IR35)

All teachers will be eased into our process with a view of developing all teachers to be responsible for the Islamic education and progress of a group of 8-10 students as a maximum. You will be required to

  • Teach a high level of Qur’anic education through Ahsanul Qawa’id (Qaida) and Qur’an,
  • Aid memorisation based on school targets set
  • Prepare for and deliver age appropriate and engaging Islamic studies lessons. Weekly topics are assigned by the directors of Fussilat Academy.
  • Manage the behaviour of students
  • Input feedback and homework directly into the Google Sheet Student Trackers, whilst using this to monitor student progress.

Fussilat Academy is recruiting for an experienced Male and Female Qur’an & Islamic studies teachers to join our unique Saturday onsite maktab based in Marshalls Park Academy (Romford, East London).

All teachers will be eased into our process with a view of developing all teachers to be responsible for the Islamic education and progress of a group of 8-10 students as a maximum. You will be required to

  • Teach a high level of Qur’anic education through Ahsanul Qawa’id (Qaida) and Qur’an,
