Job Description About the Role We are looking for a motivated Mid-Level SaaS Operations Engineer to help maintain and improve our cloud-based SaaS platform. This role offers the opportunity to work with modern cloud technologies, container orchestration, and DevOps practices while growing your skills in a supportive team environment. Key Responsibilities • Manage and maintain SaaS infrastructure on AWS • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI • Deploy and manage applications on Kubernetes clusters with knowledge of CNI networking, cert-manager for TLS certificates, and policy enforcement tools • Manage application deployments via helm charts. • Implement configuration management solutions using Ansible • Monitor system health using observability tools. • Respond to incidents and participate in troubleshooting efforts • Maintain relational database systems • Document operational procedures and runbooks • Collaborate with development teams on deployment and operational issues • Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation covering EMEA and US time zones • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Required Qualifications • 3-5 years of experience in operations, DevOps, or related technical roles • Solid experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure • Working knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration, including CNI basics, cert-manager usage, and familiarity with security policies (Gatekeeper or PSS) • Experience creating and managing Helm charts • Practical experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins or GitLab CI) • Familiarity with Ansible for automation and configuration management (like Chef or Puppet) • Experience with relational databases (administration and basic optimization) • Understanding of monitoring tools including ELK stack and Grafana • Good problem-solving and analytical skills • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment • Willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call rotation Preferred Qualifications • Exposure to Azure cloud platform • Basic knowledge of Java applications • Experience with non-relational databases • Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar) • Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools • Exposure to Kubernetes operators and custom resources • Familiarity with ingress controllers and service mesh concepts • Familiarity with GitOps practices Total Experience Expected: 04-06 years Qualifications Required Qualifications • 3-5 years of experience in operations, DevOps, or related technical roles • Solid experience with AWS services and cloud infrastructure • Working knowledge of Kubernetes for container orchestration, including CNI basics, cert-manager usage, and familiarity with security policies (Gatekeeper or PSS) • Experience creating and managing Helm charts • Practical experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins or GitLab CI) • Familiarity with Ansible for automation and configuration management (like Chef or Puppet) • Experience with relational databases (administration and basic optimization) • Understanding of monitoring tools including ELK stack and Grafana • Good problem-solving and analytical skills • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment • Willingness to participate in 24/7 on-call rotation Preferred Qualifications • Exposure to Azure cloud platform • Basic knowledge of Java applications • Experience with non-relational databases • Scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar) • Understanding of networking concepts and security best practices • Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools • Exposure to Kubernetes operators and custom resources • Familiarity with ingress controllers and service mesh concepts • Familiarity with GitOps practices Additional Information Noida (Hybrid) At our organization, we are committed to fighting against all forms of discrimination.
