Position Overview: Ceribell is looking for a temporary R&D Assembler to help us assemble EEG products and technologies. We are looking for someone with prior experience in the manufacturing of electronic medical devices. You must be detail oriented and able to work independently. You will work closely with our R&D group to identify quality and manufacturing issues and propose solutions to drive improvements to our products and processes. This temporary position will be paid hourly. There may be an opportunity to extend the length of assignment based on performance and business needs. What you'll do: Assemble prototype devices and subcomponents Provide feedback to improve design and manufacturing processes Set-up and operate manufacturing and testing equipment Maintain manufacturing area as described by Manufacturing Process instructions and Standard Operating Procedures Identify Non-conforming material Maintain inventory of materials, release materials and generate reports What We're Looking For: 2+ years of experience in assembling electronics; medical device manufacturing preferred Hands-on experience with building electronic devices (soldering, heat-staking, etc…) and solving technical problems Can work independently Familiarity with assembly instructions and data sheets Business proficient in English Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office or equivalent software Ability to lift, pull or push materials and equipment \ up to 50 lbs of force with a 2nd person. Ability to stand; walk; and use hands and fingers, handle objects, tools, or controls throughout the day. Ability to build small assemblies, at times under a microscope. Compensation Range $40—$50 USD A candidate’s final salary offer will be based on their skills, education, work location and experience, and thus it may differ from the posted range. Compensation may also include bonuses consistent with Ceribell’s corporate compensation plan.
