This Position reports to: Chapter Lead (ELSP Pilot) Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory) We are looking to appoint an R&D Engineer to support the ELSP (Smart Power) business at our site. While displaying strong leadership skills in a team environ-ment, the engineer should demonstrate experience in design, quality, safety, com-pliance, and new product implementation. The work model for the role is: #LI-OnSite This role is contributing to the Electrification Business in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon. You will be mainly accountable for: Maintaining recognized expertise in a specific area by integrating the latest developments in technologies, tools, and methodologies into your work. Finding new ways of solving problems by following your ideas, creating hypotheses, and defining ways to validate them. Documenting work results (like findings, designs, or software), allowing others to maintain and improve them. Understanding and initiating IP generation in your area of specialization and participating in the project IP strategy development. Qualifications for the role (Mandatory) Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering. 1+ years of experience in similar positions. Previous experience with PLM (Windchil). Experience in 3D mechanical and/or electrical design (CREO, AutoCAD, Solidworks). Knowledge of electrical diagrams and drawings. LV Switchboard product knowledge or similar (MCC, Switchgear, Busway, Panelboards, etc.). Knowledge of certification standards for electrical equipment (UL, IEC, ANSI, IEEE).
