Responsibilities:

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a closely related field (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering)
• Solid understanding of digital logic design and embedded systems
• Familiarity with FPGA development tools such as Xilinx Vivado or Intel Quartus
• Experience with hardware description languages (VHDL or Verilog) through coursework or personal projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities

  California Pay Range:USD $118,660.00- $125,340.00/Year
  Based on experience, education and skills, most offers will be between the minimum and the midpoint of the Salary Range listed above.

• Design and implement high-performance FPGA logic to interface with external hardware systems, ensuring minimal latency and maximum throughput
• Develop timing-critical modules using VHDL or Verilog to control motors, sensors, or other peripherals with precise speed regulation
• Optimize data paths and clock domains to enhance real-time responsiveness and reduce bottlenecks in hardware communication
• Collaborate with hardware engineers to define system-level requirements and ensure FPGA designs meet speed and performance targets
• Integrate FPGA designs with embedded processors or microcontrollers, enabling dynamic control of external hardware speed
• Conduct timing analysis and constraint tuning to meet setup/hold requirements and ensure stable operation under varying conditions.
