This Position reports to: R&D Team Lead Your role and responsibilities: You will be working as a R&D Engineer and will be part of Electrification business for Smart Power division, based in Hyderabad, India. In this role you will be reporting to R&D Team Lead and will be responsible for contributing significantly to successful project results in technology, software, product or solution development as well as associated IP by identifying, proposing and implementing innovative solutions.. The work model for the role is:#LI-Onsite You will be mainly accountable for: Working as an independent and reliable contributor in R&D projects with limited supervision. Performing various tasks in the assigned area (e.g., mechanics, electronics, thermal, software), from building concepts, gathering requirements to designing, implementing, integrating, testing, technology transfer or maintenance, and operations. Understanding and applying applicable processes, standards, guidelines, and requirements, including architectural and design constraints. Driving the achievement of assigned targets (quality, time, scope, cost) and raising and addressing risks. Our team dynamics You will join a Dynamic team, where you will be able to thrive. Qualifications for the role : Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Minimum 6-10 years of experience in R&D of LV circuit breakers and switchgear Exposure to product design and development, quality, value engineering, costing of electrical distribution and control products like ACB, MCCB, MCB, contactors and switches Proficient in CAD Tools like Creo, CATIA V5, Pro / ENGINEER and simulation tools like ANSYS, Pro-Mechanism Proficient in circuit breakers technology, applicable regulatory standards, test requirements and demonstrated experience in mechanism design, development and advanced simulations. Fundamental knowledge required for entry-level understanding of ACB & MCCB Electronic Trip Units .
