What You Can Expect: / Job description Research, development and design activities for our modern bus, taking into account functional, material-related, manufacturing and economic aspects. Management of operational strength, testing and calculation activities to ensure the strength of the vehicle's structure. Timely, in high quality, complete and efficient design development/processing and release of series and project tasks in the area of "BIW & Exterior for class 1,2,3 raised floor and low floor vehicles" Evaluation of optimization ideas, change requests and corection feedback from relevant areas on current vehicle types in all production locations (MBT/Ulm/Mannheim/Holysov/Ligny) Development support and cooperation with relevant areas in all production locations. Participation in supplier visits, project meetings, regular communications. That’s Why You Are a Match: / Qualifications Degree in mechanical engineering (Ing./Dipl.-Ing.) and expertise in vehicle technology/construction is an advantage. Extensive product knowledge and construction in automotive. Bus knowledge is an advantage. Knowledge of how to use CAD systems (Siemens NX), SAP, MS Office, etc. Team, collaboration and integration skills, goal-oriented action and analytical thinking skills. Fluent German or/and English, both written and spoken. Completed military service for male applicants. No travel restrictions.
