REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks and CAD software for design purposes.
  • Experience in CNC machining/programming, particularly CamWorks
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with practical experience in fabrication techniques.
  • Knowledge of CNC machining processes is advantageous.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across various disciplines.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical components and systems using SolidWorks and our established design processes.
  • Create detailed schematics and technical drawings for prototypes and production models.
  • Create production procedures.
  • Create processes to enable the further growth and expansion of the business.
  • Source components and communicate with subcontractors.
  • Conduct experiments and tests to validate designs.
  • Fabricate prototypes using CNC machines and other fabrication tools, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications.
  • Troubleshoot issues during the development process, providing solutions to enhance product functionality.
  • Document all phases of the design process, maintaining accurate records of experiments, results, and modifications.
  • Participate in project meetings to report on progress, challenges, and next steps.
