About the Role:
The R&D Engineer - Geotechnical, Is an integral member of a multi-disciplinary R&D team that is responsible for the development and maintenance of ground support product designs, standards and applications to meet customer and market needs. The role specifically has a further external focus, providing high level technical service to customers and building relationships with key industry bodies. Excellent communication, report writing, experimental design and analytical skills are paramount for this role, as well as good project management skills.

About You
You have recognised tertiary qualifications in mining geotechnical engineering, or other related disciplines, ideally at degree or associate diploma level. You have the ability to research, interpret, and apply information from relevant industry sources and can analyse technical data with accuracy. You are also skilled in following standard systems of work, ensuring documentation is completed correctly, and have the capability to develop and document new systems as needed.
With strong written and verbal communication skills, you collaborate effectively with internal teams, cross-functional departments and external organisations. Your ability to work cooperatively ensures smooth coordination and successful project outcomes. A background in the mining industry would be highly desirable.
