Description

Researches, develops, designs, and evaluates mechanical components, assemblies, processes and/or equipment. Conducts feasibility studies to verify capability and functionality. Develops new concepts from initial design to market release. Works under direction for project activities, but develops design recommendations for review. Write and submit intellectual property (patents). Maintains detailed documentation throughout all phases of research and development. Investigates and evaluates existing technologies. Reviews or coordinates vendor activities to support development. Supports routine investigations and problem solving activities Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or Equivalent. English Level desired: 80-89%. Desired knowledge: Design control methods such as risk analysis, Design validation and Verification plans protocol and report generation At least 2 years of experience in similar position.
