POSITION OBJECTIVE
Pureon Inc. is looking for an R&D Engineer to join its Innovation Team. If you want to be part of the Pureon team and contribute to an exciting, growing and dynamic program, then we want to talk with you! This position is based in Pureon’s North American R&D Laboratory on the campus of UNC Charlotte.

· Directly support the Innovation program under the direction of the US Innovation Group Leader.
· Perform laboratory experiments generally related to the areas of polishing
· Evaluate new polishing slurry formulations, polishing pads, and other consumables in terms of their physical properties and polishing performance.
· Investigate and test new consumables for the precision polishing of various substrates with a focus on wafering processes for the compound semiconductor market.
· Interface with Sales, Marketing, and customers; participate in routine communication between each of these groups and businesses.
· Provides timely and effective data analysis
· Leads multi-functional process capability improvements and validation efforts
· Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures
