The Role
We are looking for a talented and detail-oriented R&D Engineer to join our Research & Development team. The R&D Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing new products, components, and systems, with a strong focus on AutoCAD drawings, technical design, and product innovation. This role is central to translating conceptual ideas into technical designs and ensuring seamless alignment with production requirements. Key Responsibilities • Create 2D and 3D AutoCAD drawings for new and existing products, ensuring accuracy and compliance with design standards. • Support the development of prototypes, molds, and tooling designs in coordination with suppliers and production teams. • Conduct technical feasibility studies and assist in evaluating new product concepts. • Collaborate with Production and Quality Assurance teams to ensure product designs are manufacturable and meet performance requirements. • Prepare and maintain detailed design documentation, including bill of materials (BOMs), design revisions, and test reports. • Assist in product testing, data collection, and design modifications based on performance analysis. • Participate in cross-functional project meetings to align R&D efforts with business and operational needs. • Research new materials, processes, and design technologies to support continuous improvement and innovation.
Requirements
Qualifications & Skills • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. • Proven experience in product design and development, preferably in manufacturing or automotive/industrial products. • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D & 3D); knowledge of SolidWorks, CATIA, or other CAD software is a plus. • Good understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and tooling design. • Ability to interpret and create technical drawings and engineering specifications. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
