The Formulator Manager plays a critical role in bridging the gap between product development and commercial production. This position requires expertise in formulation, a solid grasp of CGMP practices, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams in scaling up processes from lab to production.

Salary Range: $100,000 – $120,000 per year (Based on experience)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience formulation and scale-up.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
• In-depth knowledge of CGMP guidelines and regulatory requirements.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with data reporting tools.

• Develop and optimize formulations that meet product quality, sensory, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct stability studies and performance evaluations to refine and improve formulations.
• Lead the scale-up of formulations from lab bench to full-scale production.
• Partner with engineering and production teams to ensure manufacturing consistency and efficiency.
• Supervise and support the manufacturing and formulation teams.
• Facilitate training and development programs to enhance team capabilities and maintain high performance.
• Ensure compliance with CGMP regulations and internal quality standards throughout all stages of development and production.
• Identify and resolve production issues promptly; implement preventive and corrective actions.
• Coordinate closely with Quality Control, Marketing, R&D, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment on product goals and launch timelines.
• Contribute to product development discussions with technical and practical insights.
• Maintain accurate and organized records of formulations, experiments, scale-up protocols, and production metrics.
• Generate reports and present project updates and performance assessments to senior management.
