    Description: We are looking for a dynamic person to join our Smile in a Box team in Montreal. Smile in a Box offers a service for designing guided surgery solutions to facilitate the positioning of dental implants. These activities include the planning of guided dental surgery and the modeling of customized surgical guides. The intern will join the Smile in a Box team of specialists to participate in daily production activities.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Completed a minimum of 60 credits in a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or mechanical engineering;
  • Bilingualism: strong proficiency in English both written and spoken in a professional and technical context;
Responsibilities
  • Familiarize yourself with the technology and terminology specific to the dental field and Smile in a Box’s guided surgery solutions;
  • Verify and analyze the compliance of patient data (scans);
  • Prepare a preliminary virtual treatment plan (positioning of surgical tools and dental implants based on the patient’s anatomy and technical considerations) using the technology and service offered by Smile in a Box;
  • Present a treatment plan directly to clients (surgeons);
  • Model surgical guides according to Smile in a Box procedures;
  • Collaborate with an international team (Canada, United States, Mexico, Costa Rica) for operations and/or various projects;
  • Participate in continuous improvement and/or standardization projects;
  • Ensure work is performed according to established procedures within the quality management system;
