In your internship at a globally leading medical technology company, you’ll be right in the middle of the action: Shape the future of cranial surgery—develop your skills in our R&D team, leveraging AI, advanced algorithms, and state-of-the-art navigation technology. Our offer to you Opportunity to complete your internship in the field of navigated cranial neurosurgery. Following a successful internship, there is an opportunity to write a thesis. Develop prototypes for our surgical navigation system and contribute with a proof-of-concept application. Become an integral part of an international and interdisciplinary Research & Development team. Contribute to our state-of-the-art navigation and imaging system using C++, Python, and/or Matlab. Apply the latest technologies in machine learning, geometric algorithms, knowledge representation, and information retrieval. Conduct independent research in the field of surgery and transform innovative ideas into practical, value-adding solutions. That makes you stand out Ideally, you are enrolled in a master's program in a field such as computer science, medical technology, or a related discipline. You have experience with object-oriented programming and frameworks such as Qt and OpenCV. You have strong mathematical skills and enjoy applying them to real-world problems. You are motivated by challenging tasks in the field of medical technology. You have excellent English skills, both written and spoken. You work independently, are highly motivated, and eager to take on responsibility quickly. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
