In your internship at a globally leading medical technology company, you’ll be right in the middle of the action: You will support the Stryker DevSecOps team that is responsible for providing support and services related to the software development lifecycle for many different teams and projects across the company. Our offer to you You will support our Research & Development team in developing cloud‑based software applications. You will have the opportunity to work on innovative products together with an experienced development team. You will work in an agile environment with highly automated processes and a modern tech stack: AI, mobile development (iOS and visionOS), CI/CD pipelines in GitLab. By writing your own scripts, you will automate important steps in the product development process. In addition, you will develop prototypes and conduct feasibility studies. You will have the chance to actively contribute your practical solutions to an international medical technology company. That makes you stand out You are studying computer science, electrical engineering, microsystems engineering, mathematics, physics, or are enrolled in a comparable field of study. Your interest in cloud and web applications, along with solid software development skills, will enable you to quickly familiarize yourself with your tasks. Ideally, you have experience with programming languages (e.g., C/C++, Java, Python) and object‑oriented programming. You are interested in artificial intelligence and want to leverage its potential to increase efficiency in software development and support teams in developing AI‑based solutions in medical technology. You are characterized by a high level of initiative, flexibility, independence, and attention to detail. Good written and spoken English skills complete your profile and enable effective communication in our international work environment. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location. Field-based – You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based. Onsite – Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category. Hybrid – You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
