We are looking for an R&D Lab Manager (m/f/d) to support the R&D department.
Enapter’s R&D department comprises a total of 12 laboratories, with activities carried out in the field of chemistry, materials characterization (microscopy, spectroscopy, electrochemical testing, mechanical properties analysis, ICP-OES…), and testing of components for our AEM Stacks.
Your main responsibilities will be to ensure that lab-based activities can be carried out smoothly within the R&D department, by maintaining the laboratories organized, and providing support to the technicians, researchers and team leaders for matters concerning equipment, laboratory supplies as well as safety and regulations.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily laboratory operations, ensuring all activities comply with safety protocols, standard operating procedures, and regulations
  • Organize maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
  • Manage the inventory of lab supplies such as chemicals, reagents, and other consumables, ensuring correct storage conditions and appropriate stock levels are available
  • Order lab supplies (materials, reagents, chemical, glassware etc) and track expenses
  • Collaborate with the Health and Safety officer to establish procedures related to the above-mentioned safety protocols, regulations and good practices and ensure that new R&D staff is aware of them.
  • Maintain safety documentation such as SDS or lab access regulation documents.
  • Collaborate with the Quality team and H&S officer to ensure ISO9001, ISO45001 and ISO14001 standards are met and documentation is available and up to date
  • Provide support to the R&D Department, for example when purchasing new equipment, establishing collaborations with external partners for analysis/characterization or organizing external measurement campaigns
  • Provide support in project proposal writing and project reporting related to equipment/laboratory supplies
