Position: R&D Lab Technican – Homecare Working place: Nguyen Luong Bang, Tan Phu Ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City Working hours: Monday – Saturday, 9:00 – 18:00 1. Main responsibilities: Laboratory Tasks: Maintain safety and hygiene standards in the laboratory. Execute tasks associated with innovation, cost-saving, and branding projects, such as: o Verify that all new raw and packaging materials comply with technical specifications. o Prepare new formulations in the laboratory to evaluate stability under various conditions. o Design new packaging in alignment with the projects scope, including laminate pouches, labels, bottles, outer cases, and pallet pattern. o Prepare PMR, work instructions, and mock-up sample. o Prepare laboratory reports. Support export projects by performing similar tasks as mentioned above, under the supervision of line manager Consumers Test Samples Preparation Tasks: Prepare paperwork for new raw and packaging materials from neighboring countries or suppliers: issue PO, arrange shipments, Prepare consumer test samples (mixing and filling) at the pilot plant. Main Plant Trial (MPT) Tasks: Collaborate with planning, supply chains, and engineering teams to ensure RPM readiness, arrange trial slots, and assess technical risks. Participate in trials at supplier sites for new packaging designs and assess trial results Collaborate with quality team to ensure all incoming raw and packaging materials meet technical specifications prior to MPTs. Coordinate operation & supervise the end-to-end process during MPTs. Facilitate stability tests, transit tests, and stacking tests following MPTs. Technical Information Management Tasks: Attend project team meetings to ensure all R&D-related tasks are completed on time. Manage data on R&D digital systems, for example: o Manage technical information and specifications for all raw and packaging materials (PLM, AWS, BLUE,...) o Create specification, fill template for code creation from MDM request, BOM o Support samples shipment to other Unilever sites through DHL and Viettel Post Supply Chain & Marketing Support Tasks: Oversee long run trials & first mass production Monitor the quality and stability of new products after production (if required) and compile reports. Assist supply chain in implementing continuous improvements Conduct R&D related activities to assist marketing team during product launch such as product demo, samples preparation for activation, 2. Requirements: Background: majoring in Organic Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related technical fields 0-1 year of working experience Soft skills: communication, teamwork, time management, problem solving, critical thinking, English proficiency: Intermediate level 3.
