MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As a Research and Development Lab Technician at EnergyX, you will support our research and development operations as a key contributor in the synthesis, testing, and analysis of innovative organic and inorganic compounds. In this role, you will collaborate closely with senior researchers, gaining invaluable mentorship while executing experimental plans and managing testing schedules. Our ideal candidate will show a keen attention to detail as they convert raw data into comprehensive reports that drive projects forward. Safety is our top priority! Our employees are expected to uphold OSHA regulations while ensuring a secure working environment. As part of our Operations team, you will maintain accurate inventories, facilities procurement processes, and keep our laboratory organized and efficient. This position will be located at our Headquarters in Austin, Texas. All work will be conducted in the office and lab. All candidates are welcome to apply. Relocation assistance is not available.

GENERAL LABORATORY DUTIES:

  • Collaborate effectively within the operations team to achieve project objectives.
  • Maintain accurate inventories of materials, ensuring adequate supplies for ongoing research activities.
  • Facilitate procurement processes by ordering equipment, chemicals, and other necessary supplies in a timely manner.
  • Uphold cleanliness and organization in the laboratory environment to promote efficiency and safety.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
