MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in Chemistry, preferably organic chemistry; Advanced degree in science or engineering, preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in an innovation environment

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

  • Working with innovation, commercialization, new binder development, applications development.
  • Building strategic and execution-focused plans, and cross business / functional partnerships, influencing leadership and teams.
  • Experience in open innovation environments focused on identifying and incubating high risk and potentially disruptive technologies.
  • Leading within matrixed organizations; leading cross-functional and global teams.

The R&D Leader, Binder development will be responsible for driving the development of cutting-edge binder solutions, identifying market trends, and implementing strategies to maintain Owens Corning’s competitive edge in the industry. This role will collaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to bring innovative ideas to fruition and ensure successful product launches
