R&D MANAGER - COSMETIC INGREDIENTS

An esteemed international leader in the beauty and personal care industry is seeking an experienced R&D Manager to join their team in Lombardy!
This company specializes in developing innovative, naturally derived ingredients for skin care and sun care applications, with a strong emphasis on eco-friendly and sustainable solutions.

REQUIREMENTS

• A master’s degree in chemical science, C.T.F, Material Science or similar.
• Strong knowledge of Cosmetic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, and Analytical Chemistry.
• Previous experience (5-10 years) in cosmetics or food ingredients
• Experience in managing R&D teams
• Fluency in written and spoken English

• Project Management: Oversee multiple innovation and product renovation projects, ensuring efficient progression and effective resource management.
• Research and Development: Conduct literature evaluations, design and run experiments, analyze data to develop new cosmetic ingredients.
• Team Leadership: Guide and mentor laboratory staff, fostering a cooperative and innovative research environment.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with commercial, QA/QC, regulatory, and applied R&D teams to align projects with market trends and customer needs.
• Technical Reporting: Generate comprehensive technical reports, standard operating procedures, and present findings in internal and global research meetings.
