In this role, you’ll be responsible for upgrading and refurbishing Percepto drones. Why join Percepto? Responsibilities You will join our R&D workshop that develops aircraft and autonomous ground tools. Manufacture, construction, assembly, and testing of Percepto’s tools and systems. Working closely with mechanical and electronics engineers Design and manufacture the needed tools/jigs for the R&D experiments Perform the initial assemblies of any new design Design and perform the needed R&D ground experiments Maintain and fix the R&D and QA fleet of Drones and Base Stations Maintain the testing facilities and equipment in the Flight Testing site Provide technical support for Percepto’s assembly lines (drones, base stations, A/Cs) Perform minor design changes in the products to support failures in production Provide technical support to our mechanical manufacturers Requirements 2-3 years of experience with delicate mechanical assemblies Familiarity with the field of drones and robotics. Experienced and capable in soldering and manufacturing electrical cables Good level of English Experience in building and flying drones - Advantage Knowledge of working with a PIXHAWK flight controller - Advantage Experience with 3D printing - Advantage Knowledge in C.N.C – Advantage Experience in manufacturing with complex materials- Advantage Familiarity with programmed development controllers (RS-PI / ARDUINO) – Advantage Knowledge of avionics, optics, encoders, different sensors (IMU, Gyro, Accelerometers, etc..) - Advantage Instrumental with Windows/Linux environment
Responsibilities
