The Development Engineer provides economical solutions to create & improve high speed bulk cable product designs use in data centers. This position interacts with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Cable Assembly Engineering, Manufacturing, Test Laboratories, raw material suppliers and 3rd party regulatory and standards organizations. This position is responsible for the design & development & validation activities required of a high precision, high bandwidth product base.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Product Development/Documentation
• Support Process Engineering & scale up.
• Interact with test lab on product development & validation activities.
• Raw Materials requirements & specifications.
• Interact with SI engineer with modeling activities as well as test development
• Interact with raw material suppliers to develop and improve materials/quality (Supplier development).
• Interact with bulk cable PDEs & MPDEs in sister plants.
• Interact with cable assembly engineers
• Support EH&S Activities
• Support ISO activities
