Description

Take an executive role in strategic studies. Develop a clear understanding of the medium voltage MV Switchgear landscape and market trends. Anticipate and deliver customer-centric solutions. Evaluate complex information and draw timely, appropriate conclusions. Lead BOC & ProLaunch studies. Demonstrate initiative for personal and professional development. Communicate effectively to ensure clarity and audience understanding. Build partnerships and collaborate across teams to achieve organizational priorities. Deliver measurable results aligned with business objectives. Take executive responsibility for design development within R&D projects. Collaborate with R&D and cross-functional teams (Quality, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing, Operational Excellence Opex) to meet customer expectations and enhance product experience. Provide product line support for current products and NPI transitions. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a high-ranked University - required Master's (MSc) - preferred Minimum 5 years in design projects (preferably in the electric sector) OR Minimum 2 years as an engineering expert with unique sector-specific technical knowledge Experience with various manufacturing methods and prototyping Kinematic, dynamic, and structural analysis of mechanical systems Manufacturing methods OR Green Belt certification in Design for Six Sigma DFSS Knowledge of material properties and selection Finite Element Analysis (FEA) Heat & mass transfer analysis - preferred Expert level: SolidWorks and design data management systems ADAMS Inventor AutoCAD Minitab Finite element programs (ANSYS, SolidWorks Simulation) Take executive roles in ProLaunch tasks and technical solutions Design with a cost-oriented perspective Good communication skills Strong research and reporting abilities Effective time management Fluent level of English language
