With 1800+ employees in more than 30 countries and over 75 years of experience, we are the trusted, global, long-term partner for the world’s leading OEMs. Job Description Position Summary: This role is part of a new R&D Team in India focusing on developing and maintaining the next generation Digital Products for mission critical connective technologies. The role leads testing of all software and firmware solutions as part of a global and crossfunctional product development team. With its entrepreneurial spirit, the role contributes greatly to the digital transformation of Oetiker’s products and the creating of new digital product opportunities. Essential Functions: Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for data ingestion, processing, storage, and UI components. Validate firmware functionality of Oetiker products, including communication protocols and data integrity Perform system-level testing to validate data flows and integration scenarios, in production environment Create and maintain test plans, test cases and test reports based on product requirements Ensure regression as well as non-functional (performance, scalability, security) testing before every reléase Setup and maintain test environments Collaborate in interdisciplinary, global development projects teams Collaborate with external partners if needed Support internal and external customers Contribute to the development of Oetiker’s Digital Product strategy General project work (agile) and departmental tasks Qualifications Degree (BSc or MSc) in Computer Science / Software Engineering or similar 5 year experience in Software/ Firmware testing with some exposure to automation Experience in any script language i.e. PowerShell, Python or similar Experience in AI/ ML testing environment Additional Information Proven drive (energy, determination, motivation) and a can-do mentality Proven knowhow in QA role in software development life cycle Experience with API testing tools and test automation frameworks Knowledge of cloud based platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their test environments is a plus Familiar with firmware testing, including knowledge of communication protocols (Serial, USB, Ethernet ) Exposure to .NET mocking framework like Moq, NSubstitute, FakeItEasy is a plus Familiar with modern collaboration tools such as Confluence for document purpose and knowhow Exchange, JIRA for bug tracking Experience with versión control (Git) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Gitlab CI) Experience in collaboration with different stakeholder (FW, HW, PM) Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus Precise and analytical working style with a high commitment to quality Team player with a high degree of intellectual curiosity Department: Technology OEGR
